• 1940-1946 - Royal Air Force - Radio Operator
• 1949-1967 - X-Ray Service Engineer
• 1967 - until retirement - Sales Engineer in the radiation field.

• 1948 - first licensed as GM3CZR
• 1955 - assigned VE3CZ upon moving to Canada

Additional Information

Active in Ottawa Valley Mobile Radio Club and Ottawa Amateur Radio Club. He participated in several Field Days and emergency exercises.

Joined QCWA and served as Director of Chapter 70 1992-1993.

At the September, 1994 dinner meeting he gave an interesting presentation on X-Ray radiation and displayed several X-Ray tubes.

Ian passed away July 3, 2007.
