My first love is buying, restoring and operating the old "boat-anchor" rigs – Hallicrafters, National, Hammarlund, Collins, Johnson, etc., and operating vintage AM gear. I currently own and operate two 1KW broadcast transmitters, modified for the 160 and 80M bands.

Member of Cote St-Luc Amateur Radio Association, President 1987.
Member Ottawa Valley Mobile Radio Club, Technical Chairman 1991-1992.
Member of Ottawa Amateur Radio Club. Director 1994. Editor of The Groundwave – 1994-1996.
Member of AM International – Director, Canadian Division.
Hold several operating awards and certificates: WAS, DXCC, and several others.
Member of QCWA and Chapter 70.
Was presented my QCWA "35 Years Licensed" lapel pin at the Chapter 70 May 2007 dinner meeting.
Ed passed away in 2014.
